Study Task 5

Practical Proposal:

I intend to produce sketchbook work and a number or larger paintings focused on creating more modernistic versions of the traditional Shunga, influenced by my own cartoon-esc illustration style. I wish to promote humour quite heavily through facial expression, pose and context. I want my work to be directed to an audience of 18+, since it will be sexually explicit. I do not expact to have a final outcome as it is more focused on repetitive drawing, but I do wish to produce some larger scale paintings to act as stand-alone works.
